Health Department offering flu vaccinations

Starting on Monday, August 25, 2025, the Dubois County Health Department will be offering flu vaccinations for any individual wanting to protect themselves this respiratory season.

The flu vaccine is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurances. Daily walk-in flu shots are available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may also use our convenient drive-thru between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The drive-thru option is open to individuals 12 years of age and older. This is a safe and effective way to get your family vaccinated against the flu this year without ever leaving your car. We encourage everyone to come experience the convenience of our drive-thru option.

To accommodate after-hours vaccinations, we will also be holding late-night vaccine clinics at the Dubois County Health Department on the following dates: (No drive-thru on late nights)

August 27th, 2025, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
September 10th and 24th, 2025, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
October 8th and 22nd nd 2025, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm

In addition to flu shots, don’t forget the Dubois County Health Department can also handle all your vaccination needs, including RSV, shingles, hepatitis A & B, tetanus and pneumonia.
