Hazel Mae Miller, 95, of Huntingburg, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at her residence.

She was born February 1, 1920 in Jasper, Indiana, to Walter and Arilla (Anderson) Taber. She married Clarence L. Miller on December 11, 1943 in Jasper.

Hazel worked 30 years in the dry cleaning business. She was a 60-year member of Central Christian Church in Huntingburg. She loved to crochet, write poems, watch I.U. basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Most of all, she enjoyed sharing her faith in God with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Miller, who passed away March 30, 2003; two sons, Larry Miller and Randy Miller; four sisters, Mabel Klee, Eldena McNeil, Rosemary Lowry and Katherine Foxworthy; two brothers, Harley Taber and Richard Taber; and one great grandchild.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon (Holding) Parks of Huntingburg; two sisters, Irma Schnell of Jasper and Peggy Tomey of Terre Haute; two brothers, Ralph Taber of Evansville and Donnie Taber of Jasper; by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Hazel Mae Miller will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Central Christian Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Paul Newland will officiate at the funeral service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday; andalso at Central Christian Church from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the funeral.
