Hayworth paintings on display at Southern Hills

Leah is a self-taught artist who began painting in high school with encouragement from her teachers. She attended a drawing class at VUJC led by Kay Ann Peake and further developed her talents. Leah’s exhibit at Southern Hills features watercolors and also includes oil and acrylic pieces.

Leah loves nature so flora and fauna are her usual subject matter. She draws inspiration from the colorful flowers she cultivates in her garden.

Leah was a former Southern Hills Counseling Center employee in Jasper for many years and served as manager of the Rehabilitative Day Treatment Program for many of those years.

The public is invited to view Leah Hayworth’s exhibit at the Jasper office, 480 Eversman Drive, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
