Gregory J. Hurst, age 56, of Jasper, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday (June 25, 2013) at the Providence Home Healthcare Center in Jasper.

Greg was born on September 2, 1956 in Jasper, Indiana to Oscar and Myrtle (Sallee) Hurst.

He was a bartender for several establishment in the Jasper area. He enjoyed playing golf, he was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, and enjoyed sports and being in the outdoors.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Jasper Knights of Columbus.

Funeral services for Greg Hurst will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday (June 28, 2013) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Thursday (June 27, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
