Gregory C. Knies, age 55 of Jasper, passed away at 12:00 p.m., Monday (November 12, 2012) at home.
Greg was born on December 13, 1956 in Jasper, IN to Victor and Monica (Mehringer) Knies.
He was employed by the city of Jasper in the Municipal Utilities Department, previously he had worked for Uebelhor and Son’s for many years.
He was a lifelong member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, and a member of the Jasper K of C.
He enjoyed golf and watching sports. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and IU Basketball fan.

Funeral services for Greg Knies will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday (November 17, 2012) at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday (November 16, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and 1 hour before services at church.
