Grassroots organizations hosting Mid-States Corridor community discussions
A series of public town hall events will be held from October 13th to 21st to share how the proposed Mid-States Corridor will impact our communities throughout Dubois County.
Residents, civic leaders, and experts will share a brief update on road access issues, tax implications, costs, and other topics, followed by a Q&A session.
The purpose of these events is to educate each community and answer residents’ questions about this proposed project. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7 p.m. and concluding at 8:00 p.m. The schedule of events is as follows:

Friday, October 17th, Haysville – Jasper Outdoor Recreation Center, 559 W. 500 N, Jasper
Monday, October 20th, Huntingburg Teen Outback, 507 N. Main St., Huntingburg
Tuesday, October 21st, Jasper Klubhaus 61, 2031 N. Newton St., Jasper
These events are free to the public and hosted by local community organizations including Mid-States Update, the Property Rights Alliance, and the Coalition Against the Mid-States Corridor. We encourage you to bring family, friends, and neighbors to learn more about what this means to your pocketbook, your town’s future, and how it could shape our region’s future.
