Golda M. Helms Fleck, 91
Golda M. Helms Fleck, age 91 passed away at 7:10 a.m. Friday (July 6, 2012) in the Timbers of Jasper.
She was born in Newburgh, Indiana on June 30, 1921 to John and Ida (Hall) Best. She married Howard “Windy” Helms he preceded her in death on May 27, 1977 then married Alvin H. Fleck, he preceded her in death on June 10, 2003.
Golda retired from Central Tool and Wire Company in Chandler, Indiana. She also worked for SIRS and Newburgh Senior Citizens Center.
She is a member of the Newburgh United Methodist Church.

She was the last surviving member of twelve children.
8 grandchildren, Jennifer Hansen and her husband Andy, Tim Helms and his wife Whitney, Brandan Brosmer and his wife Tandra, Scott Brosmer and his wife Lori, Adam Brosmer and his wife Stacy, Nick Brosmer, Megan Poole and her husband Brian and Luke Helms and his fiancé Brittney Buse. She also had 17 great -grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Golda Fleck will be held at 2:00 p.m. CST Tuesday (July 10, 2012) in the Newburgh United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, Indiana. Rev. Steve Seitz will officiate.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. EDT Monday (July 9, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and from 10:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. CST service Time at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Newburgh Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.
