Gloria J. Lehr, 66

Gloria J. Lehr, 66, of Jasper, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Brookside Village in Jasper, Indiana.

Gloria was born on August 1, 1948 in Washington, Indiana to Ray and Thresia (Marks) Lehr.

Gloria was a 1966 graduate of Jasper High School. She worked as a Master Scheduler at Masterbrand Cabinets for 40 years from 1969-2009. She was a member of the Women of the Jasper Moose. She loved sports and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers fan. She also enjoyed playing pickleball, bingo, golfing, bowling, traveling, going to casinos, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by one sister, Donna Smith and her husband Ken of Jasper; one brother, Jim Eckerle and his wife June of Loogootee; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; great-great-niece and -nephew.

Preceding her in death is one brother, Kenneth Eckerle.

Funeral services for Gloria J. Lehr will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Women of the Jasper Moose will perform a memorial service at 6:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center or to a favorite charity.
