Glenn Seger, 64, Otwell

Glenn Seger, 64, of Otwell, passed away at 7:12 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at University of Louisville Medical Center in Louisville.
He was born in Jasper on April 15, 1952, to Jerome and Wilma Jean (Lechner) Seger. He married Susanne Miller on November 24, 1984, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland.
Glenn retired from OFS Brands in Huntingburg. He was a graduate of Jasper High School Class of 1970. He coached youth sports in basketball, football and baseball in Pike County for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed walking.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne Seger; son, Buck Seger and wife Camelia of Winslow; two grandchildren, Ava and Hunter; three sisters, Linda Parker and husband Stephen of Hawaii, Sherry Seger of Bloomington, Ill. and Karen Uebelhor of Huntingburg; four brothers, Steve Seger of Evansville, Dave Seger and wife Anita of Jasper, Wayne Seger and wife Bonnie of Jasper and Terry Seger and wife Brenda of Velpen.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Ireland Sportsman Center in Ireland at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016, with friends and family gathering until 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pike County Youth Sports or to a favorite charity.
