Glenda S. Turpin, 72
Glenda S. Turpin, age 72, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 9:55 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
She was born July 25, 1939 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Glenn and Alberta (Fischer) Harris. Glenda was a retired bookkeeper for Buehler’s Foods. She was preceded in death by: her father; and one brother, Jack Harris.
She is survived by:
Three daughters and two son-in-laws,

- Tracy (spouse: Jeremy) Weyer – Ferdinand, IN
One son and one daughter-in-law, Doug (spouse: Laura) Turpin – Lebanon, OH
Her mother, Alberta Harris – Huntingburg, IN
Two brothers,
- James Harris – Huntingburg, IN
- Steve Harris – Huntingburg, IN
Two sisters,
- Shirley Satkamp – Jasper, IN
- Carolyn Klee – Jasper, IN
and (8) grandchildren.
Memorial services for Glenda Turpin will be held at 7:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Monday evening, February 20, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with the Rev. Gerald Frye officiating. Cremation and scattering of her cremains will take place after the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, the day of the memorial service.
