Girl Scout Troup 490 achieve their Silver Award

Girl Scout Troop 490 from Holland and Huntingburg finished their Silver Award on Friday, March 22, 2019, by partnering with the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center to complete a couple of impactful community project.

One project included making a flyer with tips to healthy snacking and they supplied the Lange-Fuhs Center with more than $300 of snacks and drinks for the patients and families.

The second project was to make a flyer on the benefits of music. The girls purchased three MP3 players with headphones loaded with a variety of music for patients and families to listen to while there.

They also have been working on random projects and events with the Cancer Center as they need help.
