Gertrude “Trudy” Chronister, 100

Gertrude “Trudy” Chronister, age 100 of Jasper passed away on Saturday in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born May 18, 1911 in Warriors Mark, Pennsylvania to Walter and Bertha (Laird) Cox. She was married to C. Stuart, he preceded her in death on May 30, 1964.

Gertrude worked for the Penn State University for many years.

She is a member of the Spring Mount Church of the Brethren at Warriors Mark Pennsylvania.

Eight grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one daughter Patricia Beyke.

Services will be held on Saturday December 17, 2011 in Warriors Mark Pennsylvania.

Becher-Kluesner funeral Home are in charge of local arrangements.
