Geraldine “Gerry” Rummel, 76
Geraldine “Gerry” Rummel, age 76, of Jasper, passed away at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday (October 24, 2012) at her home.
Gerry was born on February 14, 1936 to Edgar and Rose (Brenner) Hoffman. She had two marriages, her first marriage was to Randall McCain in 1956. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1976. Her second marriage was to Bill Rummel in 1977. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2008.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, and animals. She resided in Cherokee Village, Arkansas for 15 years.

She also had sixteen grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and twenty-seven step-great-granchildren.
Preceding Gerry in death besides her husbands, is one brother, Irwin Hoffman, one step-son Randall Rummel, and two step-grandchildren, Michelle Kern, and Donnie Lichlyter.
Funeral services for Gerry Rummel will be held at 10:00 a.m. (Monday October 29, 2012) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday (October 28, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Cancer Society, the Dubois County Humane Society, or to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
