Geraldine “Geri” M. Pieper, 82

Geraldine “Geri” M. Pieper, age 82, of Jasper, IN passed away at 11:59 P.M. on Sunday (December 9, 2012) at home.
Geri was born on June 6, 1930 to Bernard and Mary Helen (Johnson) Seifert. She married Leroy Pieper on August 29, 1950 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana.
She worked in the Jasper Middle School Cafeteria, where she retired after 19 years of service.
Geri attended Jasper High School. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, a member of the St. Ann’s Society, and was active in the SPREAD program. She was a long time volunteer at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Jasper.
She enjoyed sewing, reading, baking, and gardening.

Funeral services for Geraldine “Geri” M. Pieper will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (December 13, 2012) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (December 12, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The St. Ann’s Society will pray a Rosary at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
