Gerald H. “Jerry” Kluemper, 66

Gerald H. “Jerry” Kluemper, 66, of Jasper, passed away at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Jerry was born on February 27, 1948 to Roman and Catherine (Giesler) Kluemper. He married Connie Polen on July 2, 2009.

Jerry worked as a Sales Representative for Schmidt Contracting for 37 and a half years.He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, the American Legion Post #147, Jasper Moose, and the Jasper Outdoor Recreation. He enjoyed attending and displaying his car at car shows, playing horseshoes, bowling, and playing tennis. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts, I.U. basketball, and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Kluemper of Jasper; two daughters, Jennifer Patterson, and her husband Joe, of Robinson, Ill. and Sarah Kluemper of Evansville; one son, Jason Kluemper, and his wife, Lydia, of Jasper; one stepson, Joshua Linette of Jasper; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Oeding of Jasper; three brothers, Kenny Kluemper, and his wife, Charlene, of Salsbury, Ind., Rich Kluemper, and his wife, Linda, of Bowling Green, Ky., and Bill Kluemper, and his wife, Cindy, of Jasper.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Thomas Kluemper and John Kluemper, who died in infancy.

Funeral services for Gerald H. “Jerry” Kluemper will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military gravesite rites.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
