Gerald Carroll, 82

Gerald Carroll, 82, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born February 27, 1933 in Hammond, Indiana, to Gerald “Dewey” and Margaret Carroll. He was disabled and had been a resident of the former Providence Home, now called Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper since 1976.

Gerald is survived by his first cousin, Mary Alice Sylvester of Lansing, Ill.

Funeral services for Gerald Carroll will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015 in the chapel of Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper.  The Rev. Fr. Ryan Hilderbrand will officiate at the service.

Interment and committal of his cremains will immediately follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
