George K. Skelton, 77, Huntingburg,

George K. Skelton, 77, of Huntingburg, passed away at 6:26 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

He was born January 13, 1946, in Huntingburg to Herschel Hayes and Helen Martha (Rudolph) Skelton.

He married Rebecca Todd on May 1, 1982. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca, on November 25, 2019; and a sister, Linda Skelton.

He is survived by two sons, Jeremy Skelton of Spurgeon and Jason (Heather) Skelton of Birdseye; two sisters, Joyce (Steve) Lubbehusen of Huntingburg and Mary Resenbeck of Holland; by eight grandchildren, Jazmine, Austin, Mason and Gage Skelton, Ashely Merrimon, Dominqiue, Lily and Dakota Litkenhus.

A private burial for George Skelton will take place at Fairmont Cemetery.
