Genevieve ‘Jenny’ Stockhauser, 83, Jasper

Genevieve ‘Jenny’ Stockhauser, 83, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2025, at Saint Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

She was born on June 2, 1942, in Fall River, Massachusetts, to the late Joseph and Mary Silvia.

Jenny moved to Owensboro, Ky., in 1970, where she was cast in a Western movie, “The Marshal of Windy Hollow,” which was filmed south of Owensboro. She was a country singer and sang on stage in many shows. She was a housekeeper for many years at River Valley Behavioral Health. Her greatest joy was her family and her love of animals.

She is preceded in death by her son, Rick Stockhauser; her sisters, Rita White and Helen Mello; and brother, Tony Silvia.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Wright (Marvin); grandsons, Matthew Wright and Barrett Wright; granddaughter, Shannon Winkler (Johnny); great-grandchildren, Cora Wright and Waylon Winkler; nephew, Wayne White (Robin); and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. A private burial will be at a later date at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
