Geneva V. Lannan, 92

Geneva V. Lannan, 92, of Jasper passed away at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, November 27, 2014, in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born at Huntingburg, Indiana on September 4, 1922 to Henry T. and Velvia (Bufkin) Skaggs. She married George Lannan on March 26, 1940, and he preceded her in death on April 5, 1981.

She was a homemaker. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

She us survived by her sister and caregiver Helen Oser of Jasper; also, nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are brothers, Irvin, Raymond and Bobby Skaggs also three sisters, Iola Ferguson, Mildred Rohlman and Juanita Perkins.

Funeral services for Geneva Lannan will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Loogootee, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
