Gary Mac Ferrier, 86, Jasper,

Gary Mac Ferrier, 86, of Jasper, passed away at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center on Monday, October 30, 2023.

He was born November 9, 1936, in Lawrenceville, Ill. to Anna Lucille (Strange) and Paul W. Ferrier (Detroit, Mi).

He graduated in 1953 from Lawrenceville High School and continued in aviation at Vincennes University.

In his early days, he enjoyed flying and studying astronomy, and later he was a photographer and woodworker.

On October 12, 1958, he married Linda E. Williams, whom he is survived by, and their three children, Kathryn L. Lengacher (Rick) of Montgomery, Kristine A. Harris (Larry) of Jasper, and Steven N. Ferrier (Margra) of Lexington, Ky.; four grandsons, James and Connor Harris, Kyle and Sam Ferrier;
also a sister, Ann Howder and niece, Lucy Spangler of Evansville.

His funeral is scheduled at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. Viewing precedes at 10:00 a.m., and burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes.
