Gary L. Seifrig, 72, Ireland

Gary L. Seifrig, 72, of Ireland, passed away at 4:28 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2020, at Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper. 

Gary was born in Huntingburg on  January 19, 1948, to Robert and Anna (Kiefer) Seifrig. He married Mary Faulkenburg on August 14, 1982, in Jasper. 

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. He retired from Jasper Rubber after many years of service. He enjoyed working around in his garage, making birdhouses, and quilting. 

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Seifrig of Ireland; two sons, Gary L. Seifrig Jr. of Georgia and Jeff  (Christy) Seifrig of Huntingburg; three stepchildren, Joseph McDonald of French Lick, Dana McDonald of French Lick, and April McDonald of French Lick; six grandchildren and one sister, Linda (Bob) Nutter of Hammond.

Preceding him in death are his parents; Robert and Anna Seifrig, one brother; Mike  Seifrig. 

Services will be held at a later date.
