Gary L. “Reggie” Knust, 61, Jasper

Gary L. “Reggie” Knust, 61, of Jasper, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at home.

Gary was born in Jasper on September 21, 1956, to Alvin C. and Estella L (Ketzner) Knust. He married Beckie Bartley on September 13, 1986, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

He worked as a mortgage lender for several area banks for most of his lif, and recently worked part time for the Jasper Knights of Columbus.

Gary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He was a 4th Degree Knight and previous Grand Knight with the Jasper Knights of Columbus.

He enjoyed playing golf, bowling, reading, was an avid San Francisco Giants and Green Bay Packers Fan, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Beckie Knust of Jasper; one daughter, Amy Knust of Jasper; one son Andrew Knust of Jasper; one sister, Linda Beck (Randy) of Jasper; three brothers, Edward Knust, Jasper, Eugene Knust, all of Florida, and Paul Knust (Donna) of Jasper.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one nephew, Bradley Knust.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Gary L. “Reggie” Knust will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow at a later date.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Funeral Home in Jasper.
