Gary L. Petry, 69, Jasper

Gary L. Petry, 69, of Jasper, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017 in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on November 16, 1947, to Raymond L. and Eldena (Baker) Petry.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Petry; daughter, Kim Johnson of Jeffersonville; sister, Della Rae Skaggs (Bill) of Haysville; brother, Bill Petry (Donna) of Washington; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two stepsons,
Jeremy Hart of Jasper and Jason Hart of Sarasota, Fla.

Funeral services for Gary Petry will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, in Christ Lutheran Church in Haysville with burial to follow in Community Cemetery in Haysville. Rev. Timothy Kraemer will officiate.

Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the 2:00 p.m. service time at the church.
