Gary Jahn, 70
Gary Jahn, age 70 of Jasper, passed away at 1:00a.m. on Wednesday (December 26, 2012) at home.
Gary was born on August 10, 1942 in Jasper, IN to Harold and C. Eileen (Cissell) Jahn. He married Shirley A. Dupps on June 10, 1965. She preceded him in death on June 2, 2006.
He was a former co-owner of Jahn’s Family Market and retired in 2007 from Buehler Foods where he worked as a meat cutter for 30 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He served in the Indiana National Guard.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing card, and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding him in death besides his wife are his parents Harold and Eileen Jahn.
Funeral services for Gary Jahn will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (December 29, 2012) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, IN, with burial to follow at the Fairview Cemetery. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military gravesite rites.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday (December 28, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
