Gary E. Flamion, 70

Gary E. Flamion, age 70, of Jasper, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Friday (April 12, 2013) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, IN.

Gary was born on January 26, 1943 in Perry County, IN to Leonard and Ethel (Hall) Flamion.

He worked for Dale Wood Manufacturing, the Jasper Corporation, the Jasper Cabinet Company, Jasper Rubber, and most recently for the Dubois County Herald.

He served in the Indiana National Guard, and was a graduate of the Dale High School Class of 1961.

He was a member of the Jasper Legion Post #147, the Peterburg VFW Post #3587, and the Jasper Moose Post #1175.

He enjoyed camping, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and IU Basketball fan.

Funeral services for Gary Flamion will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday (April 16, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, IN, with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. Art Ross will officiate. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct Military Gravesite Rites.

Friends may call from 1:00-6:00p.m. on Tuesday (April 16, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. The Jasper Moose will hold a memorial service at 5:00 pm.
