Freida M. Lagenour, 88, Dubois

Freida M. Lagenour, 88, of Dubois, passed away at 6:37 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018, in IU Health Paoli Hospital.

Freida was born on Nov. 19, 1929, in Washington. She married Rev. Elmer Royce Lagenour on Sept. 21, 1946. He preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2006.

She was a homemaker.

Freida attended Birdseye Christian Church, Crystal Community Church and Doolittle Mills Church.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Alvin Lagenour, Kaufman, Texas; two daughters, Royce Springer and Mary Jane Icenogle, both of French Lick; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Freida was preceded in death by two brothers, Kerrill and Jerry Rose; and one granddaughter, Kresta Jane Wininger.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 14, at McAdams Mortuary, 500 SW First St., Paoli, with Brother Mike Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at McAdams Mortuary.
