Freedom Reigns cancels classes for remainder of 2020

Freedom Reins Therapeutic Riding Center, the not-for-profit organization with its purpose being to improve the bodies, minds and spirits of children and adults with disabilities through the use of horse therapy, has made the difficult decision to cancel all of the classes for the remainder of 2020.

With the close contact of all individuals involved in the program (both students and volunteers), it would be difficult to maintain social distancing and also would be difficult to use face masks, gloves, constant use of hand soap, hand sanitizer and cleaning of equipment and various other methods for keeping our program participants safe, the group said through a press release.

Prior to the program beginning again next spring, Freedom Reins will research ways to come back stronger, implementing ways to transition back into full swing while using safe methods to keep our students and volunteers safe while still enjoying the benefits of this fantastic program.
