Freedom Makers to host Rep. Mike Braun

The Freedom Makers of Dubois County will host State Representative Mike Braun at the meeting scheduled for this Saturday, June 10, from 9:30 t0 11 a.m. at the Shoney’s in Jasper. The meeting is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend who wants to. We meet in the back-room area of Shoney’s.

The meeting held n the back room of Shoney’s in Jasper is open to the public.State Rep. Mike Braun will discuss the latest State budget cycle, road funding taxation and funding, and the future of the Mid-State corridor. Rep. Braun will also take questions. This will be an open dialogue about the questions posed and opinions given.

The group will also discuss local issues surrounding the Greater Jasper School Corporation and the elementary school situation. Additionally, as time allows, tax increment finance and how it has impacted local property taxes will also be touched on.
