Free recycle bins available at Dubois County Solid Waste 4H Fair booth

The Dubois County Solid Waste District will be back in Exhibit Building 2 at the Dubois County 4H Fair this year. This year, they’ll be handing out mini-recycling bins to help Dubois County residents reduce, reuse and recycle. T

“Just stop by and say ‘I want my blue bin,’” sid Dubois County Solid Waste District Director, Carla Striegel-Winner. “People love these little bins, but we do have a limited supply, so we can only give out one per household.”

Bins are one per household and for Dubois County residents only.

The District will have a display on what can and cannot be recycled in Dubois County and will also have pens made from recycled bottles to give away. Stop by the booth, located in Exhibit Building 2, Monday, July 17 to Thursday, July 20 from 5 to 9 pm to get your blue bin and get questions answered about recycling and proper waste disposal in Dubois County.
