Free compost & cover crop workshop coming to Jasper
The Dubois County Soil and Water Conservation District will host a free workshop for community members interested in improving soil health, reducing waste, and learning practical conservation techniques for home gardens and farms.

Location: CTIM Building at VUJC, 861 College Ave, Room 227/226, 2nd Floor, Jasper, IN
The program will introduce participants to practical composting techniques, the benefits of cover crops, and how these conservation methods support healthier soil and more resilient growing systems. Presentations will be delivered by Mathew Knepper of Evanston Valley Enterprise and Megan Ayers of IN Small Farms Conservation.
