Fredonia D. Collins, 91, Holland

Fredonia D. Collins, 91, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Golden Living Center in Petersburg.

She was born on October 27, 1928, to Joseph and Dora (Schott) Partenheimer. She married Harry B. Collins on November 23, 1947. 

Fredonia worked for several companies throughout her life including the Holland Dairy, Ahrens, and IGA. She was a member of Augustana United Church of Christ in Holland. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Fredonia loved spending time with her family as well as listening to music, watching movies, playing cards and reading, especially her Bible as her faith was always very important to her. 

She was preceded in death by her husband who died on April 28, 1990; her mother and father; and 13 siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Randolph) Nolasco of Aurora, Colorado; her son, Daniel (Rose) Collins of Winslow; and her grandchildren, Heather (Jon) Schoenbachler of Jasper and Joshua Collins of Winslow.

Funeral services for Fredonia D. Collins will be held at 1:00 pm, ET Monday, October 12, 2020, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, the day of the service. Pastor Debbie Roe will officiate at the service. 

Burial will take place at Zoar Cemetery, located at 8818 Old State Road 64 in Holland immediately following the service.
