Fred Stephen Allen, 81, Huntingburg

Fred Stephen Allen, 81, of Huntingburg, passed away at Linda White Hospice. He was born on May 29, 1943, to the late Robert P. Allen and Anna (Siler) Allen.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. Fred also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events and evening cruises with his wife, looking for deer. He was a member of Fur Takers of American Chapter 7C and the United Mine Workers.

Fred is survived by his wife, Brenda Allen; children, Stephanie Dupps (Dean), Beth Richardson (Dan), Scott Allen (Alison), Michael Allen (Rebecca), Byron Allen (Mandy); grandchildren, Cody Dupps, Clay Dupps (Mae), Dalton Richardson, Hallie King (Laben), Tanner Richardson, Brayden Allen, Drew Allen, Avery Allen, Kru Allen (Maria), Kade Allen, Keaton Allen, Kamryn Allen, Weston Allen, Hudson Allen; great-grandchildren, Ellie King; sibling, Jerry Allen (Marilyn).

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Doris, Bobby Joe, Avalon, Laverne, Carolyn, Mary, Ruth, Phyillis; grandchild, Tucker Allen.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel, 722 Heim Rd, Chandler, IN 47610.

Services will begin Monday, September 23, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and to be officiated by Reverend Leon Hatchett, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, IN.
