Franklin D. Zink, age 74
Franklin D. Zink, age 74, of Huntingburg, passed away at 5:45 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his residence in Huntingburg.
He was born March 20, 1937 in West Alexandria, Ohio to Omer and Sarah (Eckert) Zink. He was married to Barbara Ann Hagan on May 23, 1954 in Rockport, Indiana.
Mr. Zink was employed at Dolly Madison Industries as a warehouseman and leasing manager for close to 20 years. He then moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked for Allied Signal as an overhaul and repair department supervisor for 20 years. He moved back to Huntingburg in 1997 and worked for Executive Furniture until his retirement.
Mr. Zink was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Huntingburg, was a member of the Teamster’s International, and he loved to go fishing. He was preceded in death by: one daughter, Debra Ann Eckert, who passed away in 2011.

Funeral services for Franklin Zink will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Mark Embry will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday.
