Four juveniles charged in recent burglaries and thefts
Jasper — Four juveniles have been arrested in connection with two burglaries and a theft in Jasper that occurred between July 21 and July 22.
According to police, the juveniles allegedly broke into two garages along the 800 and 900 block of Giesler Road on July 21 and 22. Those residents reported several items missing including compound bows, BB guns and shotguns.
Another theft was reported from a vehicle on the 800 block of Judith Ave. on July 21 in which two GPS units and other items were taken.
According to police, much of the stolen property was recovered from a dumpster behind the Tri-Cap office as well as a wooded area behind Dubois Machine Works, both located along Third Ave.
The four male juveniles will be summoned into juvenile court in the near future to face Level 6 felony counts of burglary. According to police, all four live in the areas where the crimes occurred.
The Jasper Police Department also issued a thank you to the public for help received in bringing the cases to a close.
