Four county roads remain impacted by flooding
The Dubois County Highway Department updated the number of roads impacted by high water Tuesday morning. They reported that four county roads remain closed due to water levels from Hunley Creek and Bruner Creek — down from 7 closures in yesterday’s report.
Districts 1 and 2 continue to have no active closures.
In District 3, four Patoka Township roads remain closed. CR 400 South east of US 231, CR 130 West north of CR 400 South, and Old Road 64 west of Patoka Road are all impacted by Hunley Creek, while 1st Street in Huntingburg west of CR 75 West remains closed due to Bruner Creek. CR 75 West, CR 660 South, CR 200 West, and Ferdinand Road Northwest have all reopened since yesterday’s report.
District 3

- Patoka Twp — CR 130 West, North of 400 South (Hunley Creek)
- Patoka Twp — Old Road 64, West of Patoka Road (Hunley Creek)
- Patoka Twp — 1st Street – Huntingburg, West of CR 75 West (Bruner Creek)
Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roads and never attempt to drive through standing water. Road conditions are being monitored and closures will be updated as water levels change.
