Food Truck Registration Now Open for Jasper Arts’ Chalk Walk

Jasper Arts’ annual Chalk Walk Arts Festival will return to the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center, located at 100 3rd Ave., Jasper, IN 47546, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Jasper Arts is currently seeking food trucks and food vendors interested in participating in this colorful community event. Chalk Walk welcomes artists, families, and visitors of all ages for a fun-filled day of creativity and entertainment, and food vendors play an important role in making the event a great experience for attendees.

In addition to chalk art on the sidewalks surrounding the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center, this year’s event will feature custom balloon art, arts and craft activities, and inflatables, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the day.

HOW TO REGISTER AS A FOOD TRUCK OR FOOD VENDOR:

  • Food trucks and other food vendors are invited to apply to participate in Chalk Walk 2026.
  • The fee for an outdoor food booth space is $25.
  • Vendors using a tent must ensure it meets State Fire Marshal codes.
  • All food vendors must have the appropriate City of Jasper registrations and licenses current and on file with
    the City of Jasper.

Participants in Chalk Walk may also register online by visiting http://www.jasperarts.org/chalkwalk. Registration is $12 per person, and those who register by April 27 will receive an official Chalk Walk t-shirt free of charge. T-shirts will also be available for purchase on the day of the event for $8, while supplies last.
