Florence Elizabeth Smith

Florence Elizabeth Smith went home to the Lord on November 6, 2014, passing peacefully at Newburgh Healthcare.

Born on July 11, 1927 in Lincoln City to Clarence and Mary Woods. She married Logan ‘Vic’ Smith on March 5, 1949.

She was a devout Christian, and was never happier than when surrounded by family.

Surviving is her son Larry Smith and his wife Geri and daughter Sandra Hemenway and her husband Matt; her two sisters Thelma Medcalf and Dalia Bracken; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Vic, a son Joe Dale Smith, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held Monday Nov. 10, at 10 a.m. CDT at the Fuller Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Old Pigeon Cemetery.

Friends may call on Sunday Nov. 9, from 3 till 6 p.m. CDT at Fuller Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Santa Claus United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Newburgh Healthcare for their kindness and compassion.
