Florence E. Seifert, 95, of Jasper, passed away at 1:58 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, in Jasper.

Florence was born on October 20, 1919 in Jasper, Indiana to August and Catherine (Streicher) Schroeder. She married Erwin Seifert on October 7, 1947 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2015.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and their St. Ann’s Society.

She is survived by five daughters, Donna Humbert and husband Mike, Diane Manley and husband Kevin, Doris Erny and husband Mike, Darlene Mehringer and husband Alan and Lois Rohleder and husband Doug, all of Jasper; four sons, Dennis Seifert and wife Marie, Bob Seifert, Duane Seifert and wife Tara, and Dean Seifert and wife Mona, all of Jasper; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Orville Schroeder and wife Viola and Clarence Schroeder and wife Jeannie, both of Jasper.

Preceding her in death beside her husband were sisters, Dora Dupps and Leona Thewes; brothers, Sylvester, Edwin, Oscar, and Othmar Schroeder; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Beth Seifert.

Funeral services for Florence E. Seifert will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
