Florence B. Neuhoff, age 102
Florence B. Neuhoff, age 102, of Huntingburg, Indiana passed away at 7:25 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born November 9, 1910 in Dubois County, Indiana to Leander and Rose (Dick) Giesler. She was married to Carl Neuhoff on January 23, 1934 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.
Florence retired from farming in 1962 and worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the dietary department from 1964-1972.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg where she was a prayer catechist. She was a volunteer worker and member of R.S.V.P.; was an avid card player; and enjoyed quilting, especially making quilts for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Carl Neuhoff, who passed away on September 4, 1981; four brothers – Arnold, Edward, Robert and Herman Giesler; and one sister, Ardella Heim.
She is survived by:

- Viola Schroeder – Jasper, IN
- Leona Knust – Ferdinand, IN
by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Florence B. Neuhoff will be held at 10:00 a.m., (E.S.T.), on Monday, December 17, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery (Huntingburg).
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-7:00 p.m., on Sunday. A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Mary’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
