Flag drop box added to Dubois County Courthouse

A drop box for U.S. Flags has been added inside the main entrance of the Dubois County Courthouse.

Provided through a partnership with the National Association of Counties, the National Flag Foundation and the National Sheriffs’ Association, the drop box is accessible during normal courthouse hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Flags needing to be retired can be placed in the box with the assurance that they will be properly disposed of in a ceremony held by local veterans’ organizations or members of the Boy Scouts.
