Fern Tuley, 100, Dale

Fern Tuley, 100, of Dale, died on August 5, 2019, at Willowdale Village.

Fern was born on September 23, 1918, at Bone Gap, Ill. Daughter of Lawrence and Cova McKinney, she married Charles Tuley of Dale on November 30, 1940, in Flora, Ill. and was a lifelong member of the Dale United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Jack of Washington, Van of Fort Mill, S.C.., and Ronnie of Dale; brother, Ted McKinney; two sisters, Joyce Miller and Dort Greathouse of West Salem, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles in 1967, a son Larry in 1962, two brothers Virgil and Ivan, three sisters Vivian, Louise and Helen, and two great grand daughters.

Friends may call on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 11 a.m. CT till the service time at the Dale United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services are planned for Friday, August 9, 2019, at 1 p.m. CT at the Dale United Methodist Church. With burial to follow in the Dale Cemetery. Rev. Mike Turner will officiate.
