Ferdinand hosting second annual Walktoberfest

The second annual Ferdinand Walktoberfest will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, all day, starting at 9 a.m.

Join us for a full day of live music, pumpkin painting, sack races, yoga, shopping, food, and more.

Highlights include: Free Yoga Class at the Wollenmann House; Halloween-themed Hi-Low Fitness at the YMCA; Pumpkin painting, Fall Crafts, Sack Races, Pet-a-Dog, & Live Music at Wollenmann House; Fall-themed crafts at Ferdinand Library; Storytime at Police Station; Scarecrow decorating contest with Traditional Arts Today; and Food trucks, baked goods, shopping, and giveaways throughout town as well as BingoCize at Sisters of St. Benedict.

Framing Ferdinand Wollenmann House (10AM-1PM, Free)

  • Free yoga at 9am (bring your own mat)
  • Live music, face painting, pumpkin crafts, sack races, food
  • Dubois County Humane Society pet adoption
  • Treats for sale, stuffed animal adoption & crate decorating

Tin Lizzies (9am-4pm)

  • Spin the wheel activities
  • Hot apple cider, tic tac toe

Ferdinand House of Flowers (9-3pm)

  • Fall flower bar

YMCA (10-11am and 11:15 noon)

  • Halloween theme hi-low fitness

Police Station (11am)

  • Story time & cars on display

Ferdinand Library (9-2pm, Programming Room)

  • Suncatchers & paper picture frame crafts

Traditional Arts Today (10-2PM)

  • Create your own pumpkin pal
