Ferdinand 175th Anniversary weather information

The Ferdinand 175 Core Committee met at 1pm this afternoon to discuss how to proceed with tonight’s scheduled activities, based on the forecast of potentially inclement weather in the Ferdinand area this evening.

After considerable discussion and an extensive look at the short term forecast, tonight’s Ferdinand 175 Anniversary opening ceremonies will take place as scheduled:  5pm on the stage at 18th Street Park.  The Lip Sync Contest has been moved to the Ferdinand Community Center and will start at 6pm, followed by the Fashions of Olde event!

Should the weather change before Opening Ceremonies, the Committee reserves the right to make alternate plans for tonight’s activities.  Please continue to monitor local media for future developments.
