Fehribach named Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship recipient

The Dubois County Community Foundation named Cosette Fehribach as the recipient of a four-year, full-tuition scholarship as the Foundation’s 2015 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar.
Cosette Fehribach will receive full tuition to the Indiana college of her choice and a $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment.
Fehribach is a senior at Forest Park High School and is the daughter of Brett and Renee Fehribach. She has been accepted to the Notre Dame University and plans to major in Postsecondary Education and Psychology.
The Community Foundation Scholarship Oversight Committee submitted the recommendation of the nominee and alternates to Independent Colleges of Indiana, Inc. (ICI), the statewide scholarship administrator for the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program. Final selection of the recipient was made and released to the Dubois County Community Foundation ICI. ICI is a nonprofit corporation that represents 31 regionally accredited degree granting, nonprofit, private colleges and universities in the state.
The scholarship is the result of a statewide Lilly Endowment initiative to help Hoosier students reach higher levels of education. Indiana ranks among the lowest states in percentage of residents over the age of 25 with a bachelor’s degree. There were 142 scholarships awarded statewide.
