FAT Brands fallout hits Jasper Fazoli’s
Fazoli’s in Jasper closed seemingly without notice on Tuesday.
FAT Brands owned the chain as part of a portfolio of brands that included Round Table Pizza, Johnny Rockets, Great American Cookies, Marble Slab Creamery, Hurricane Grill and Wings, Buffalo’s Café, Native Grill and Wings, Yalla Mediterranean, Ponderosa & Bonanza and more.
The company filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, and last week, a Texas court approved the sale of more than a dozen brands from its portfolio. Fazoli’s was included the largest piece of the restructuring for a $595 million credit bid submitted by lenders.
