Evelyn F. Neukam, 83

Evelyn F. Neukam, 83, of Jasper, passed away at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born at Dubois, Indiana on February 26, 1931 to Leo and Emma (Kempf) Greive. She married Junior A. Neukam Sept 10, 1955. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1999.

She retired from the Jasper Wood Products where she work for 15 years. She previously worked at GE at Tell City many years and also operated a child home care for ten years. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and the St. Ann’s Society. She enjoyed her flower gardening, her grandchildren, and going to family picnics.

She is survived by two daughters, Angie Bunner and her husband Kelly of Lynnville, Rhonda Uebelhor and her husband Greg of Ferdinand; ten grandchildren and one great grandson; sister, JoAnn Smith of Jasper; brother,
Bernard Greive of Florida.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is a son Timothy Neukam; sister, Mary Ann Serles; and two brothers, Hilbert and James Greive.

Funeral services for Evelyn Neukam will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2015, in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. by the D of I’s and the St. Ann’s Society.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dubois County Right to Life or the Dubois County Humane Society.
