Eva Mae Critchfield, 83
Eva Mae Critchfield, age 83, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 1:10 a.m., Tuesday morning, September 4, 2012 at the Elizabeth Nursing Home in Elizabeth, Illinois.
She was born November 22, 1928 in Dayton, Ohio to John O. and Lavinia (Garmen) Jackson. Eva Mae was a licensed Beautician and had previously worked for General Electric in Tell City. She was a member of the Anderson Valley Christian Church and the Birdseye Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Rev. Bernard “Collis” Critchfield, who passed away on April 7, 1999.
She is survived by:
Five sons and five daughter-in-laws,

- Jeff (Donna) Cook – Princeton, IN
- Albert (Phyllis) Madden – Birdseye, IN
- Danny (Brenda) Madden – Birdseye, IN
- Tommy (Julie) Critchfield – Jasper, IN
One brother, John Jackson – Livonia, MI
by (14) grandchildren and (32) great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Eva Mae Critchfield will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Kellems Cemetery near Birdseye. Brother Ron Hickman will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Friday. The Birdseye Order of the Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service at 7:00 p.m., Friday evening, at the funeral home.
