Eunis Schwartz, 94, Huntingburg

Eunis Schwartz, 94, of Huntingburg, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born January 12, 1924, in Beattyville, Ky. to James and Alpha (Couch) Noe.

She was a homemaker, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and enjoyed quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Schwartz in 1997; one son, Larry Schwartz in 2015; and five siblings, Lois Lawson, Inis Guy, Mavis Spicer, Gladys Brandenburg, and James Noe.

She is survived by her son, Ronald (significant other, Lynn Auberry) Schwartz of Birdseye; by six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Eunis Schwartz will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Bretzville Cemetery in Bretzville, Indiana.  Steve Oeth will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and also from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bretzville Cemetery Fund.
