Esther E. Boeglin, 92, Ferdinand

Esther E. Boeglin, 92, of Ferdinand, died Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born September 10, 1924, in Ferdinand to Louis & Theresia (Weyer) Durcholz. She married Ralph A. Boeglin on April 29, 1950, in St. Ferdinand Church. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1979.

Esther was a member of Christ the King, St. Ferdinand Parish. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening & flowers, canning, farming, & crocheting.

She is survived by one son, Erwin (Doretha) Boeglin of Ferdinand; two daughters, Darlene A. Boeglin and Marilyn Welp, both of Ferdinand; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Marinus Durcholz and a grandson, Michael Boeglin.

Funeral services for Esther E. Boeglin will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in St. Ferdinand Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
