Eric Dean Smith, 50, French Lick

Eric Dean Smith, 50, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on April 25, 2021, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare in Jasper.

Eric was born in Marion, Indiana on November 1, 1970, to Walter Smith, Jr. and Sarah (Wheat) Smith.

He married Mary Wade on November 23, 2018, and she survives.

He enjoyed country music and working on small engines with his dad at Valley Mower Sales.

He is survived by wife, Mary Smith of French Lick; mother, Sarah Smith of Jasper; father and stepmother, Walter and Linda Smith of French Lick; two stepsons, Ben Wade (Celia) of Marengo and Cory Pritchett of Jasper; three brothers, Chris Morrow (Heather) of Palatka, Fla., Ken Smith (Emily) of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Henry Smith (Angela) of Indianapolis; one sister, Melissa Weals of Oakland City; two stepgrandchildren.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
